About Group Health Foundation


Group Health Foundation (GHF) has been fostering better health outcomes since 1983 as part of Group Health Cooperative. In 2017, GHF became a subsidiary of Group Health Community Foundation. GHF’s primary initiatives include the Childhood Immunization Initiative, Partnership for Innovation, Group Health Network, and Scholarships. It also stewards patient care funds, directing donations to invest in critical health needs.


Protecting children from disease


The Childhood Immunization Initiative improves vaccination rates in Washington by increasing access to immunizations and developing new educational tools for parents and providers. Read more.


Partnerships to improve clinical care


The Partnership for Innovation is a collaboration among researchers, clinical teams, and GHF donors. Between 2008 and 2016, GHF invested $6.6 million in patient-centered research to improve clinical care, reduce costs, and increase patient satisfaction. Read more.
