Diana leads the development and execution of communications strategies to advance community aspirations for health equity across Washington. Most recently, Diana served as a director for the Community Center for Education Results, where she oversaw communications for the Road Map Project initiative in South King County. She worked in collaboration with educational institutions, community-based organizations, state and local government, and students and families to advocate for racial equity in seven school districts. Along with being an experienced journalist, Diana previously worked with the American Institutes for Research in Washington, D.C. and with Asian Americans for Equality in New York.
Diana remains committed to educational equity work, serving as a member of the Southeast Seattle Education Coalition and as a director on the League of Education Voters’ C4 board. She is also involved with PIVOT, an organization for progressive Vietnamese Americans. Diana earned her MPA from New York University and a BA in journalism at Temple University. She hopes to become a skilled noodle and pasta maker one day, but until then, will continue to collect cookbooks on the subject.
