Diana leads the development and execution of communications strategies to advance the Foundation’s mission of health equity across Washington. She is committed to amplifying community stories as a way to dismantle narrative barriers that stand in the way of change. Most recently, Diana served as the communications director for the Community Center for Education Results, where she oversaw communications for the Road Map Project initiative in South King County and worked to elevate community aspirations to advance educational justice. In addition to being an experienced journalist, Diana also worked with American Institutes for Research in Washington, D.C., and Asian Americans for Equality in New York.
Diana continues to be an advocate for educational justice as a member of the Southeast Seattle Education Coalition. She earned her MPA from New York University and a BA in journalism at Temple University. Outside of her work, Diana is always looking for different stories and perspectives, and is currently committed to reading more books and articles by authors of color.
