Board Relations Manager
Rosa is responsible for advancing the work of Group Health Foundation’s Board of Directors. She works closely with the president’s office and Foundation staff to ensure we fulfill our governance responsibilities and help move our strategic planning forward. She is committed to working with the board to center community and the Foundation’s equity agreements. Previously, Rosa was a program associate for the Foundation’s learning and evaluation team. Before Group Health Foundation, Rosa worked at the REACH Project of Evergreen Treatment Services with people experiencing homelessness, substance use, and mental health conditions in the Seattle area. Rosa was raised in a biracial and multicultural family, who taught her the importance of not only listening to—but also believing and honoring people’s stories.
Rosa serves on the board of Evergreen Treatment Services and regularly volunteers with Onyx Fine Arts Collective. She earned an MPA from the Evans School at the University of Washington and a BA in anthropology from Linfield College. In her free time, Rosa enjoys getting outside as much as possible, quilting, and finding ways to satisfy her massive sweet tooth.
